Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily physician partner administration in of over 28 freestanding ER locations across Texas, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage a 4-person administrative support staff that supports a medical team comprising 300+ physician partners .
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize practice performance.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and growth opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes staff development and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, staff, vendors, and external partners.
- Coordinate with Corp. HR to ensure efficiencies in practices and support systems for physician partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred.
Expereince- 3 + years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, physician practice management, or emergency/acute care environments.
- Demonstrated success overseeing large physician groups (200+ providers) or multi-site medical operations.
- Experience supervising administrative or operational teams (minimum 3–5 direct reports).
- Proven ability to manage operations across 20+ clinical locations or a distributed regional footprint.
- Strong background in compliance, credentialing oversight, provider relations, and practice performance monitoring.
- Prior experience working with freestanding emergency rooms, hospital-based ER groups, or multi-specialty physician practices strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of practice operations, staffing workflows, scheduling solutions, and physician engagement strategies.
Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS/ATS platforms, credentialing systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and physician contracting processes.
Ability to analyze metrics, and operational KPIs.
Skilled in organizing and leading cross-functional initiatives across clinical, HR, IT, billing, and compliance teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to implement new programs, technology rollouts, and performance-improvement strategies across multiple sites.
Leadership & Management Competencies- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a 4-person administrative support team while ensuring high performance, accuracy, and service standards.
- High emotional intelligence and strong relationship-building skills to manage over 300 physician partners with diverse communication needs.
- Demonstrated ability to create structure, standardize processes, and introduce efficiencies in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
- Conflict-resolution expertise with a grounding in fair, consistent, and compliant HR practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing competing priorities across 28 locations.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Exceptional professional communication skills, including the ability to brief C-suite leaders and provide clear updates to physician groups.
- Ability to translate complex operational updates into actionable insights for administrative and clinical partners.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings, drafting policy updates, and preparing performance reports for leadership and physician stakeholders.
Understanding of Texas healthcare regulations, credentialing processes, EMTALA guidelines, and operational standards for freestanding emergency medical facilities.
Ability to support internal audits, ensure documentation readiness, and maintain compliance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
