About the Position

Provides needed support to ensure alignment with regulatory and for quality oversight through routine data. Responsible for generating reports and conducting various types of specialized analyses including Create methodology, maintains appropriate data repository and ensures documentation of analytical findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs routine data collection and prepares appropriate reports for the Pharmacy Services, including specialty accreditation programs in addition to the Ryan White grant financial programs specific to quality and utilization metrics per standards.
  • Ensures understanding of the regulatory requirements and provides regulatory support through data collection.
  • Reviews and monitors prescription and pharmacy inventory to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Develops and provides recommendations on data analytics to further understand outcomes and utilization of the 340b funds, Ryan White grant and other special programs
  • Participates in special projects where data analytics is necessary; supports development of metric and process for data collection
  • When appropriate, identifies methods for education and communication for the data collection.
  • Responsible for coordinating the presentation of the data monthly to the Pharmacy QI Management Committee
  • Stays abreast of the regulatory requirements of specialty and Ryan White to ensure metrics and data reporting are modified to ensure current understanding and knowledge
  • When necessary, collaborates with auditors to ensure coordination of efforts around maximum collection and promotion of program accuracy
  • Tracks, trends, and reports 340b pharmaceutical sales and purchases data to ensure eligibility
  • Performs a quarterly review of the 340b list to identify modifications and provide recommendations for alternative therapies submission to the Medication and Care Guidelines Committee
  • Provides oversight for process improvement initiatives and ensures an environment that places an emphasis on quality
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Previous excel with heavy data entry and analysis in Excel is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with reports and conducting data analysis
  • Independent judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent customer service with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Previous pharmacy/healthcare experience; cPhT experience preferred
