Job SummaryProvide health assessments, urgent and chronic care, and emergency stabilization to individuals in custody at the Harris County Jail. Collaborate with the general provider workforce and maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Science:
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program (NCCPA, PA‑C). - Physician Assistant‑Certified.
- None work experience required.
- Strong verbal communication. Exceptional public speaking and written correspondence.
- Skills:
Suturing uncomplicated wounds, splinting, EKG interpretation, personal computer proficiency.
- Flexible
- Holiday coverage as required.
- Leave requests must be submitted 60 days in advance.
- Continuing medical education: five business days per year.
