Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Coordinator of Nuclear Medicine/Cardiology services, the Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for the provision of quality Cardiology Services to include Echocardiography, EKG, Stress Treadmill, and Holter Monitor exams.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Certification from an approved echocardiography program with emphasis on pediatrics required.
Experience

One to three years of experience required.

Certification / License
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Pediatric and Fetal Echo (ARDMS) (RDCS-PE, FE);
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS);
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI);
  • Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

BCLS and PALS required.
