Position: Supplemental Ultrasonographer RDMS - P/T - Ben Taub Hospital

Job Summary

To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of ultrasound diagnostic equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
    Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT registered;
    Current CPR certification.
  • Work Experience (Years and Area):
    One year ultrasound experience or graduate of an ultrasound training program with minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training.
  • Equipment Operated:
    Ultrasound scanners, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
  • Special Requirements:
    Communication

    Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Composing (Correspondence/ Reports)
  • Other

    Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C.
