Performs moderate and selected high complexity tests on clinical laboratory specimens in various laboratory sections. Validates and reports results of tests performed. Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Certification by approved certifying agency: ASCP, NCA, or AMT.
- Recent Graduate must be certified by ASCP or equivalent Board within one year of graduation.
- Equipment Operated: PC, printers, scanners.
