Supplemental CT Technologist - P/T - Radiology Cat Scanner (Ben Taub Hospital)

Join Harris Health as a Supplemental CT Technologist in Radiology at Ben Taub Hospital. This role provides patient care and technical expertise in operating CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide safe and compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures.
• Ensure proper injection protocols when applicable and coordinate with radiology team for accurate exams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment and imaging software as needed.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., radiation safety, HIPAA).

• Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
  Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program.
• Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work Experience:
  
  Two years experience preferred.
• Equipment Operated: CT Scanner, Injector, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment.

• Communication Skills:
  Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact);
  Writing/Composing.
• Other Skills:
  Analytical, Medical Terms, Typing, PC, MS Word, MS Excel.
