Team Leader, Beauty​/Hair Styling

Blo Blow Dry Bar is the original & leading blow dry bar in Houston, TX. No cuts or color—just wash, blow-dry, and go in 45 minutes. We also offer makeup services and hair extension installation.

We are currently hiring a full-time Team Leader. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills but basic management experience in a beauty salon. Hair or makeup skills are assets but not necessary. Strong sales and excellent customer service skills are essential.

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Recommend products and services to increase sales and memberships
• Participate in training and skill development
• Support team collaboration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Provide people-centric leadership to stylists and makeup artists
• Set and achieve performance goals, motivate team
• Assist with staff scheduling, manage inventory and retail merchandising
• Focus on customer service initiatives to grow client base
• Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding staff
• Keep the workspace organized and immaculate

• Ability to work full-time including weekends (Tues-Saturday)
• Passion for the beauty industry and customer satisfaction
• Team lead experience in a salon/spa
• Comfort with booking software, Excel, Word, social media
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills to support company growth

• Hourly wage starting at $15/hr, with potential to earn $16/hr with bonuses and commissions
• Monthly performance bonuses and sales commissions
• Educational classes with Blo Artistic Director
• Makeup service commissions for makeup artists, earnings up to $35/hr
