Financial Accountant - SME - Meath

We are partnering with a growing organisation in Meath who are looking to add a motivated and detail‑driven Qualified Accountant to their finance team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, support month‑end reporting, and contribute to the ongoing strengthening of financial controls across the business.

• Support month‑end close activities, including preparing journals, accruals, and key reconciliations
• Oversee day‑to‑day cash management, ensuring timely completion of bank and cash reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Manage the Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, and maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Assist with Accounts Receivable activities, including monthly revenue and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register to ensure accurate and complete asset records
• Prepare monthly financial calculations and reports as required
• Contribute to ongoing finance projects and process improvement initiatives

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
• 3+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills
• Organised, self‑driven, and capable of managing workload independently
• Proactive approach with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
