A major energy trading company in Houston is seeking a Sr. Derivative Accountant. This role is part of the finance team and involves interpreting GAAP and IFRS for complex transactions. The successful candidate will lead the assessment of derivatives and revenue recognition, support the close processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, possess CPA certification, and have over five years of accounting experience, particularly in energy trading or financial services.

Strong analytical and Excel skills are also required.
