- Financial data analysis and planning on a periodic and medium‑term basis
- Oversee day‑to‑day cost management procedures
- Identify and analyse cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks
- Oversight and organization of team work‑planning
- Assist the Lead in the planning, coordination and execution of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting routines and responsibilities such as:
- Key Monthly Reports
- Application for payment, expenses, changes, KPIs
- Controlling inter‑company and intra‑company agreements on team
- Estimated revenue forecasts and actuals
- Short‑term rolling forecasts
- Forecasts to completion
- Total price of services provided to date
- Purchase order routine
- External invoicing (to client)
- Commission delivery application (monitoring credit control, tax clearances, etc.)
- Opportunity management reviews
- Internal forecast
- Familiarisation with early warnings and compensation events
- Liaison with other commission management team members (People Pillar and Contracts Pillar) for regular sharing of information and improvements on communications
- Managing rate increase and KPIs
- Project gross margin reporting
- Client partner reports (e.g. work shares)
- Finance team reports (e.g. interco, intra
Co, accruals proposals) - Work with the Lead and team to control internal and external audits
- Work with the Lead to plan and implement new ERP provisions (Dynamics D365 including SOX compliance measures)
- Develop processes and procedures for the team to improve and streamline efficiencies
- Work with the Lead on continuous improvement measures for finance data management (SharePoint, Power BI, etc.) and to continuously improve QA of data
- Assist the Lead with any ad‑hoc reporting within the Turner & Townsend Commission Management Team, the Client Partner team and the Client Team
- Regular client‑facing meetings; plan, execute and record actions accordingly
- Proven experience as a management accountant, financial analyst, cost manager, financial operations or similar role
- Familiarity with financial software (e.g. Dynamics) and advanced MS Office (Power BI ideal)
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, QS or a related field
- Relevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA) would be ideal, or a master’s in a relevant field
- Ability to work independently
- Strong business acumen and tactical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
