Our healthcare services client in West Houston is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in driving financial rigor, controls, and operational insights. Additionally, this role is a hybrid role that will include working remote on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close & reporting (GAAP & IFRS)
- Lead general ledger, balance sheet governance, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Oversee AP, AR, and cash management
- Lead audits and partner with external auditors and advisors
- Develop and mentor finance team members
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA REQUIRED
- 8–12+ years progressive accounting & finance leadership experience
- Strong GAAP, IFRS, and SOX expertise
- Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and close cycles
