Caturus, LLC, formerly known as Kimmeridge Texas Gas before our rebranding, is an integrated upstream energy and LNG company focused on responsibly producing natural gas to domestic and international markets. We are seeking a motivated Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Caturus Energy, LLC team – a wholly owned subsidiary of Caturus, LLC – in greater Houston.

The position will analyze production and revenue data, record revenue and associated tax/transportation components, and support compliance with lease terms and royalty obligations. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare monthly oil and gas revenue recordings for Caturus Energy’s marketed volumes.
  • Prepare monthly accruals for financial closing as needed.
  • Responsible for preparing general ledger (G/L) account reconciliation report and reconciles and clears balances on a monthly basis.
  • Reconcile monthly receivables of oil, gas, and NGL sales.
  • Record pipeline cashouts and balance the supply for wet gas streams.
  • Settle platform and well level producer imbalances.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot the revenue accounting system, SAP-PRA.
  • Set up and maintain commercial, marketing and purchaser terms within SAP-PRA for recording.
  • Understand commercial terms of the leases, apply analytics to production volumes and values, and have a working knowledge of division order royalty payments.
  • Responsible for performing special projects that require knowledge of oil and gas revenue accounting.
Qualifications Education, Certificates, and Licenses
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
Experience
  • 8+ years of revenue accounting experience in an oil and gas company.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience with Eagle Ford / South Texas geographic area a plus.
  • Understands production allocations and general accounting principles.
  • Possesses a conceptual understanding of royalty compliance for federal offshore leases
  • Able to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy.
  • Able to organize and prioritize a diverse and significant workload consisting of many detailed, separate procedures and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments and with external parties.
  • Creates strong work relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal staff.
  • Has a strong sense of integrity and the ability to deal with ethical situations effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
    Experience in SAP-PRA or BOLO accounting systems preferred.
