ABOUTTHE ROLE
Our Client is seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to join the investment team and support the firm’s investment and business development activities. In this career-track role, you will work directly with the firm’s partners to originate, execute, and manage new investments while gaining meaningful exposure across the full transaction lifecycle. An MBA is not required for advancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Initial review of investment opportunities and development of investment thesis and transaction structure
- Financial modeling and valuation comparable analysis
- Execution of comprehensive due diligence processes
- Participation in negotiations of acquisition documentation
- Preparation of Investment Committee materials and presentations
- Portfolio management support including attendance at portfolio company Board meetings
- Active participation in new business development and transaction sourcing initiatives
- 4 to 6 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
- Extensive knowledge of financial and operating models
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Self motivated with a desire to take on substantial responsibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a highly visible role and manage stress and pressure effectively
