The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Treasury team on performing daily treasury activities with a focus on supporting the management of the bank investments portfolio, including portfolio reconciliations, journal entries and various portfolio reports. The Treasury Analyst is also responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly interest rate risk and liquidity risk reporting and analysis. The Treasury Analyst would also provide support and work with the SEC Reporting and Finance teams on periodic reporting and strategic initiatives.

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Treasury team on performing daily treasury activities with a focus on daily cash management, journal entries, wires and ad-hoc analysis.

• Maintain records, perform reconciliations, create journal entries, and update reports for the Bank’s investment portfolio, including all securities sales, purchases.
• Provide support to all areas of the Corporate Treasury department as directed or where service or assistance is needed; demonstrates superior customer service with appropriate follow through with involved departments and employees.
• Assist with monthly ALCO presentation preparation.
• Perform ad-hoc analytics to support cash management, funding and liquidity function of the Corporate Treasury department.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action.

These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2 or more years' experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following preferred:
  • Journal entries, reconciliations and general accounting knowledge.
  • banking balance sheet and income statement structure, rules and behavior
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
• High organizational skills and ability to work independently
