We’re seeking a Reporting & Financial Planning Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team in the energy sector. This role is central to delivering accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and analysis to support senior leadership. You will help tell the financial narrative for the US trading activities around Gas, LNG and Power while driving the reporting, budgeting, and long‑term planning process.

- Responsible for monthly and quarterly management reporting, submissions and flash reporting.
- Own the NA reporting packages and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Key driver for the annual budgeting and long‑term planning processes, from data gathering to developing presentations for executive leadership.
- Review working capital reporting and respond to ad hoc requests.
- Proactively seek to improve processes, streamline tasks for efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, planning, or analysis.
- Exposure to international accounting/reporting standards (IFRS preferred).
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables/power pivots, formulas, macros, etc.) working with Big Data.
- PowerPoint - develop meaningful presentations for leadership.
- Experience in energy trading or other capital‑intensive industries is a plus.
- Highly organized, critical thinker and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Above average communication skills and a proactive focus on team collaboration.
