• Prepare and perform due diligence on federal and state income and franchise tax returns for corporations, partnership, and limited liability companies.
• Ensure the tax return in compliance with tax regulation.
• Work directly on international tax compliance engagements, including tax returns, Forms 5471, 5472, FBAR, foreign tax credit calculations, and related disclosures and statements.
• Reconciliation of tax return and financial statements, including Schedule M adjustments.
• Conduct E&P analysis for corporations and inside/outside tax basis calculation for pass-through entities.
• Research and analyze tax treaties, compliance issues, laws and regulations utilizing multiple tax research software.
• Collaborate with managers to assess tax impact and to develop tax arguments to support conclusions and suggest plans.
• Analyze business trends and provide domestic and international clients accurate estimates for current year income tax.
• Calculate tax basis depreciation and amortization for tax returns, tax reporting, and tax projections.
• Comply with tax professional standards and ethics.
• Perform clerical duties, such as typing letters and memos, to comply with agencies’ information requirements.
• Special projects and process improvement initiatives.
