Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer of the University reports to the President and is responsible for maintaining the University’s financial records, overseeing financial statements, managing daily financial operations, and coordinating activities of financial offices under the Business and Financial Services division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and coordinate work activities of accounting/financial staff.
- Oversee verification of income and expenditures; reconcile the general ledger.
- Maintain accounting records in compliance with GAAP and university policy.
- Review internal audit findings and prepare responses; develop procedures to ensure compliance.
- Act as department liaison on accounting/financial matters.
- Develop and implement internal operating policies and procedures.
- Prepare or oversee statistical data for periodic statements and management financial analysis.
- Maintain the Student Accounting system; manage tuition billing and transaction processing.
- Oversee collection functions for student accounts.
- Develop and enforce internal access and process controls for the system.
- Responsible for cash handling functions for the Cashier’s Office.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four‑year college or university.
Required Licensing/Certification: CPA certification and must be bondable.
Required Experience: Six (6) years of directly related experience.
