Corporate Financial Reporting Manager

LHH is currently recruiting a Corporate Financial Reporting Senior Manager for one of our clients in Houston, TX. In this role, you will lead enterprise-level consolidation and external financial reporting, strengthen the internal control environment, and deliver timely, high-quality insights to executive leadership. This role is pivotal to quarterly and annual close, statutory reporting, and SOX compliance, and partners cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Technical Accounting, and Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP; support SEC-style reporting (10-Q/10-K or equivalent).
• Lead global consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies and internal controls to meet SOX/COSO standards.
• Research and advise on complex transactions (leases, revenue recognition, business combinations, impairments).
• Provide accounting guidance for new business initiatives.
• Champion reporting and consolidation tools (e.g., One Stream, Oracle FCCS/HFM, SAP BPC, Workiva).
• Manage and mentor a team of senior accountants/analysts.
• Communicate results and insights to senior executives clearly and effectively.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8+ years in financial reporting and consolidation, including SOX compliance; mix of public accounting and corporate experience ideal.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with consolidation/reporting platforms and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel: BI tools experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
