Escrow Officer

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Escrow Officer position available with a well-established national Title Company for their branch office located in Houston, TX.

The Escrow Officer is responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

• Handle all aspects of settlement transactions, including the preparation and approval of Settlement Statements; preparation and coordination of deeds; and verification of the accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contracts or sales agreements.
• Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all executed documents as needed, and facilitate questions and answers between all parties to the transaction.
• Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, including but not limited to the collection and disbursement of funds, while ensuring compliance with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.
• Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policies.
• Ensure the timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from the settlement team to the Recording and Accounting Departments.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• Minimum 1-3 years Escrow Officer experience.
• TX Escrow License required.
• Notary Public required.
• Ability to close at the table.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary Range - Base Salary $60K plus 10% annual bonus

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
