Analyst, Project Finance & Financial Modeling | Houston, TX

I’m currently representing a leading U.S. energy infrastructure platform (client confidential) that develops, builds, and operates large-scale battery energy storage projects across wholesale power markets. Backed by a top-tier global infrastructure investor, the company has a significant operating portfolio and one of the largest storage development pipelines in the country.

They are looking to hire an Analyst, Project Finance & Financial Modeling to join their Finance & Capital Markets / Portfolio Management team in Houston.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role offering direct exposure to:

• Project finance modeling (construction + term debt cash flows)
• Debt and tax equity structures
• Loan draws and funding mechanics
• DSCR, covenant compliance, and lender reporting
• Portfolio-level cash flow forecasting and analytics

You’ll work cross-functionally with Legal, Accounting, Asset Management, and senior finance leadership while supporting active financings and operating assets.

Ideal background:

• 3–5 years of project finance experience (renewables, power, infrastructure)
• Strong project finance modeling capabilities
• Understanding of debt structures and financing mechanics
• Advanced Excel skills (integrated cash flow models, sensitivities)
• Exposure to tax equity, loan draws, or covenant compliance is a plus

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an IPP, developer, advisory firm, infrastructure fund, or project finance lender who wants deeper transaction exposure and ownership in a rapidly scaling battery storage platform.

Role is Houston-based (hybrid, 3 days in-office).
