Tax Director​/Manager - Corporate

Description We are seeking a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Houston, Texas. As a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate, you will be responsible for a range of tax and accounting functions, utilizing various software systems and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adobe Acrobat, ATX Tax Software, and CCH Sales Tax to perform accounting functions

- Manage and oversee the annual income tax provision

- Conduct auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of accounting processes and tax compliance

- Monitor and manage accounting functions within the organization

- Utilize advanced tax software to streamline tax processes and ensure accuracy

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance

- Develop and implement effective strategies for tax compliance and accounting functions. Requirements - Minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant field

- Proficient in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adobe Acrobat, ATX Tax Software, CCH Sales Tax

- Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Functions, Annual Income Tax Provision, Auditing, Compliance, Documentation, International Tax Compliance

- Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and IRS procedures

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred

- Experience managing a team and leading strategic tax planning initiatives

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information to non-tax professionals

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
