Location: New Jersey / New York / Houston (Hybrid)

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Actuarial domain experts (10+ years) who can work with stakeholders to design solutions, implement systems, and ensure adherence to pricing, valuation, and risk management of annuity products to provide subject matter expertise to develop actuarial models, performing financial projections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Technical

Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in Actuarial - Annuities domain.
  • Design and price annuity products (fixed, variable, indexed).
  • Develop assumptions for mortality, interest rates, expenses, and lapse behavior.
  • Conduct sensitivity and profitability analysis.
  • Calculate reserves under statutory, GAAP, and IFRS frameworks.
  • Perform cash flow projections and support financial reporting.
  • Prepare actuarial reports for audits and regulatory filings.
  • Build and maintain actuarial models using Prophet, GGY AXIS, or similar tools.
  • Automate processes using Python, R, or VBA.
  • Validate assumptions through experience studies and data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written), and ability to interact with and effectively address concerns
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, analytical, and organization skills - able to determine
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment, preferred
Process

Skills:
  • Progress toward actuarial credentials (SOA, IFoA, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of annuity products and actuarial principles.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software (Prophet, AXIS) and programming (Python, R).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
