The main focus of the Jr. Investment Operations Analyst is to provide investment and financial portfolio servicing support to enhance the client's experience. Salary: $24 - $25 per hour

Education:

- Read through contracts for cash movement of asset back securities and understand the service level agreement and deliverables behind it
- Process and reconcile complex payments related to loan or security transactions or payments
- Process and transmit money movements associated with loan funding or security payments
- Reconcile daily cash movement to system or bank activity
- Review adherence to established controls and procedures
- Provide remittance and correction information to servicers
- Monitor pooled loans to determine non‑compliance
- Communicate information to investors
- Communicate information to the Client (CFO, Controllers, Accountants, or Relationship Manager)
- Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
- Interact with other departments
- Research transactions as issues arise with loan funding, collateral, investor or bound payments (authorization matrices, legal documents, etc.) and communicate findings to the supervisor for resolution
- Maintain a working knowledge of your area of expertise, which may include Collateral, Securities, Default, Trust Administration, etc.
- Create advanced Excel spreadsheets to manage millions of dollars
