Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Our client is a growing Irish company that is a leader within its sector. They are currently expanding their finance function and are inviting an experienced FP&A accounting professional to join their finance team in a management position. They offer flexible hybrid working (3 days a week in office) at their West Dublin office.

This role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional, who is looking for a step up into management. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in planning and reviewing budgets, focusing on market assumptions, cost environment, and performance metrics;
• Develop financial models to facilitate with the budgeting and strategic planning process;
• Analyse company performance, in terms of historical data, forecasts and industry benchmarks;
• Lead the development of strategic planning and liaising with senior management;
• Management of 1 direct report, with potential for more over time;
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and other specialists;
• On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.

• Qualified accounting professional or qualified by experience;
• Minimum 3 years experience within an FP&A/commercial role;
• Experience in the use of data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI);
• Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team;
• Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
• Advanced excel with previous knowledge of financial modelling;
