About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join our team in Houston. This is a client-facing position focused on relationship management, financial planning, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The advisor will be responsible for managing approximately 75 - 125 existing client relationships. The role centers on oversight of clients’ investment strategies and their Clear Trail Plan™.
Investment management decisions are made by the CTA Investment Committee, allowing the advisor to focus on comprehensive planning, communication, and service excellence.
While new business development is not required, advisors are encouraged to bring in new relationships and are rewarded accordingly.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary advisor for 75 to 125 client households provided by the firm
- Lead delivery of each client’s Clear Trail Plan™, ensuring strategic alignment with their goals
- Oversee investment strategies and coordinate implementation through the CTA Investment Committee
- Conduct regular planning meetings and maintain proactive client communication
- Collaborate closely with the firm’s planning, operations, and compliance teams
- Maintain accurate and updated client data within CRM and planning systems
- Ensure fiduciary standards are upheld in every client relationship
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing wealth management or financial planning role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Series 7 not required (fee-only fiduciary firm)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Deep understanding of retirement planning, investments, and financial planning principles
- High integrity, discretion, and genuine commitment to client care
- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 salary during client transition period (based on experience)
