This role is responsible for managing complex tax engagements, providing strategic tax planning, mentoring team members, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. • Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns; prepare highly complex returns as needed
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing tax issues and coordinating related entity filings
• Perform detailed reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to support tax compliance and planning
• Analyze organizational structures for tax implications and ensure accurate filings
• Prepare estimated tax liabilities and deliver proactive tax planning strategies
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members, including conducting performance evaluations
• Research, document, and present solutions to complex tax issues
• Communicate tax planning recommendations with clients and other professional advisors
• Manage engagements, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development
• Meet annual billable hour and performance targets
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support additional responsibilities as assigned

• 5–10 years of experience in tax preparation and review
• CPA license or CPA-eligible
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and provide strategic planning guidance
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and related tools
• Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical skills to resolve complex tax matters
• Full-time availability with flexibility during peak deadlines
