Wealth Management Associate

An established Houston-based advisory practice is looking for a driven, client-ready professional to step into a hybrid role across financial planning, client management, and business development. You'll work alongside senior advisors while also owning client relationships directly - this isn't a back-office support role. The right person is equal parts planner, relationship builder, and growth driver, with a clear path to advance however they choose.

• Serve as a primary contact for clients on planning, service, and implementation matters
• Prepare and present financial plans, retirement projections, cash flow analyses, and estate planning reviews
• Lead or co-lead client meetings and ensure follow-through on recommendations
• Coordinate with CPAs, attorneys, and insurance specialists as needed
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and expand assets under management
• Support business development through prospect follow-up, referral strategies, event coordination, and networking
• Maintain CRM discipline, compliance documentation, and service calendars
• Take ownership of projects that improve how the team delivers and grows

• CFP® certified or actively pursuing certification
• 2–5 years in wealth management or financial planning
• Comfortable in front of clients — you can run a meeting, not just prep for one
• Strong grasp of comprehensive planning: retirement, tax coordination, estate, cash flow
• Organized, self-directed, and proactive about growth — both the firm’s and your own
