The Vice President of Finance (VP Finance) is the executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company's financial operations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the Company’s overall objectives. The VP Finance is a member of the Company’s executive leadership team.
The position is located in the Energy Corridor.

Overview of the position- Banking relations - Establish and maintain relationships with the Company’s financial institutions
- Strategic financial planning - align cash flow strategies with growth goals and strategies, ensuring financial stability in volatile markets while supporting investments in inventory and growth opportunities
- Revenue analysis and reporting - analyze the Company’s revenue streams (e.g., customer segments, product lines, industries, etc.), make sense of it, and develop strategies that amplify high performing revenue sources
- Create and evaluate financial models for new initiatives, including the introduction of new product lines, assessing profitability, market potential, and alignment with cash flow objectives
- Team Leadership – lead and manage the accounting and finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and knowledgeable coaching
- Lead the budgeting process, working with other department heads
- Collaborate with sales and production to plan material purchases and create pricing strategies
- Cash flow management and forecasting and working capital management
- Develop and implement strategies and systems to improve financial performance
- Treasury / investment management - oversee the Company’s investment plan, including making recommendations for optimal allocation of capital
- Risk management - continuously evaluate the company’s risk position and optimize insurance coverage
- Compliance – ensure the Company complies with all applicable financial regulations and tax laws. Liaise with external CPA firm for annual review and tax return preparation
- Bachelor’s (required);
Master’s or MBA preferred - Stable employment history required (average job tenure of more than two years per employer)
- Ten or more years of finance / accounting experience
- Previous management experience is required
- Able to lead and motivate team members
- A good teammate / colleague with other department heads
- Able to multi-task and to meet deadlines
- Comfortable with an in-office work location
- CPA preferred
