Accounting Analyst

The Bachrach Group is partnered with a prominent, Houston-based investment firm on their search for a CORPORATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST
. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced corporate environment, providing exposure to multiple business units and private fund operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of general accounting / financial analysis / business operations experience and a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or other related field.

• Perform journal entries and reconciliations for monthly close across subsidiaries
• Support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate reporting
• Prepare monthly internal reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with third-party providers (audit, tax, fund administration)
• Review P&L and balance sheets with CFO; support strategic planning
• Manage shared services operations (AP, AR, cash collections)
• Drive process improvement and automation using Net Suite and Salesforce
• Assist with fund-level cash movements, investor reporting, and NAV calculations
• Support senior executive leadership in launching new investment products
• Provide data for investor relations, due diligence, and performance updates
• Maintain trading activity records and support middle-office operations

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in operations, fund accounting, or audit
• CPA license (or parts passed) is a major plus
• Financial services background is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bloomberg, EZE OMS, Net Suite, or Salesforce is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and under pressure
• Entrepreneurial mindset with professionalism and discretion

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 DOE (plus bonus eligible)
