Superior Energy Services Company is currently seeking a Division Controller for our Wellbore Technologies Division, to join our team in Houston, TX. (On-Site 5 days)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities for the division, including month end close, forecasting and budgeting.
- Oversee revenue recognition, cost accounting, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Partner with division leadership to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and performance metrics.
- Support monthly forecast and annual operating plan, and variance analysis.
- Perform analysis of Manufacturing variances, cost roll up, analysis of standard cost.
- Direct preparation of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Support ERP processes, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
Manage and develop accounting staff within the division.
- Support audits (internal and external) and respond to audit inquiries.
- Supervise an accounting staff.
- Review financial statements with management personnel.
- Performs special projects as needed.
- Manage employees directly or through subordinate supervisors.
- Perform all management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Change management and process improvement orientation.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and operational accounting, manufacturing experience a plus.
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-division environment.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance detail-oriented accounting responsibilities with strategic business support.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
