Superior Energy Services Company is currently seeking a Division Controller for our Wellbore Technologies Division, to join our team in Houston, TX. (On-Site 5 days)

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities for the division, including month end close, forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee revenue recognition, cost accounting, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with division leadership to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and performance metrics.
• Support monthly forecast and annual operating plan, and variance analysis.
• Perform analysis of Manufacturing variances, cost roll up, analysis of standard cost.
• Direct preparation of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
• Support ERP processes, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives.

Manage and develop accounting staff within the division.

• Support audits (internal and external) and respond to audit inquiries.
• Supervise an accounting staff.
• Review financial statements with management personnel.
• Performs special projects as needed.

• Manage employees directly or through subordinate supervisors.
• Perform all management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and operational accounting, manufacturing experience a plus.
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-division environment.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to balance detail-oriented accounting responsibilities with strategic business support.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
