Regulatory Reporting Manager – Circle
Join Circle’s regulatory reporting program as a Regulatory Reporting Manager.
Circle (NYSE: CRCL) is a leading internet financial platform building a global economy through digital assets, payment applications, and programmable blockchain infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Support the regulatory reporting program across key supervisory bodies, driving timely, accurate filings.
- Run day‑to‑day reporting processes, maintain documentation and controls, and coordinate cross‑functional inputs.
- Manage the reporting calendar for recurring submissions, ensuring deadlines and dependencies are tracked and communicated.
- Prepare, review, and validate filings, data submissions, and supporting documentation.
- Build, maintain, and document source‑to‑report data flows, procedures, control checklists, and evidence packages.
- Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and issue investigations; resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Data Engineering, Product, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, and other teams to gather inputs and strengthen accuracy.
- Analyze regulatory requirements and translate them into structured processes, data specifications, and reporting methodologies.
- Implement best‑practice regulatory reporting processes, including drafting policies and procedures.
- Support examinations, audits, and supervisory inquiries by organizing evidence and ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess impact on obligations, data needs, and control frameworks, and build scalable processes.
- Participate in testing and implementing reporting schema, system, or data changes to maintain compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or similar credential preferred.
- Seven or more years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or prudential supervision within a bank, trust company, or fintech.
- Experience with multi‑regulator oversight and prudential or supervisory reporting frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage structured reporting processes and ad‑hoc requests with strong documentation, controls, and examiner‑ready work papers.
- Experience working with ERPs and modern reporting/controls tools; comfortable operating beyond Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, data validation skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
- Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational procedures.
- Demonstrated accountability and reliability in delivering high‑stakes, deadline‑driven work.
- Collaborative style for partnering across departments.
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or supervisory interactions.
- Prior involvement in implementing reporting schema or systems changes.
- Strong drive to standardize deliverables and processes utilizing AI tools.
Base pay range: $137,500 – $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and business needs.
