Commercial Lender / Relationship Manager
Location: Houston Metro
Overview A well-established Texas community bank is adding a Commercial Lender to support continued growth in its local market. This role emphasizes relationship banking over transactional volume, with strong internal credit and operational support.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio (C&I and owner-occupied CRE)
- Develop new relationships through referrals, COIs, and existing clients
- Structure deals in partnership with credit and underwriting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business clients
- 5+ years of commercial banking experience
- Background in C&I and/or CRE lending
- Relationship-focused, community banking mindset
- Competitive base salary
- Performance-based bonus
- Possible guarantee depending on experience
