A Houston-based fiduciary wealth management and financial advisory firm is hiring a Wealth Manager to own complex client relationships, deliver holistic financial plans, and execute sophisticated strategies across investments, insurance, and estate planning. This role blends consultative relationship management with deep technical expertise. You’ll be supporting clients while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver a platinum-level client experience. WealthManager Responsibilities
- Serve as lead advisor and subject‑matter expert for high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients
- Cultivate new client relationships and develop Centers of Influence
- Create, present, and execute comprehensive financial plans and long‑term strategies
- Perform independent analysis of client financial situations and generate written recommendations
- Develop proposals including advisory accounts, life insurance, long‑term care, and complex planning strategies
- Maintain and update client portals, data, and financial planning platforms
- Provide ongoing monitoring, reviews, and strategic updates as client needs evolve
- Coordinate with Client Service Advisors to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation
- Deliver due diligence and product expertise across asset management, insurance, and annuities
- Mentor and train Client Service Advisors into future Wealth Managers
- Contribute thought leadership across the firm’s three pillars: holistic planning, asset management, and insurance
- 7–10+ years advising clients with $10M+ net worth or $100K+ annual income
- Bachelor’s degree
- CFP®, CFA®, or completed coursework toward designation
- Strong understanding of asset management, risk management, and insurance strategies
- Salesforce experience
- Financial planning software experience
- High technical fluency across planning tools, Excel, and reporting systems
- Clean Broker Check record (Series 65 or equivalent 7/66)
- Highly collaborative, polished, and client‑facing professional
- CPA preferred
- Tax planning expertise preferred
- Experience advising UHNW families and business owners preferred
- Background in both public and private market investments preferred
