Job Description
U.S Bank’s Institutional Client Group (ICG) cultivates clients’ trust through customized service and access to the bank’s resources and expertise. The One U.S. Bank approach helps companies meet business needs through capital markets, credit, payables and receivables, liquidity and investments. The team provides access to additional financial products and services to help middle market and corporate companies achieve financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities- Serve as Relationship Manager for the Consumer and Retail division, handling and growing a complex portfolio of loans for clients with revenue greater than $500 million.
- Prospect for and close new business relationships; retain and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Sell bank products and services, identify opportunities across One U.S. Bank, and make appropriate referrals.
- Lead all aspects of client relationship management, focusing on customer dedication, quality, accountability, loan and deposit growth, and fee income growth.
- Basic
:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. - Experience
:
Typically 10+ years of banking experience.
- Subject matter expertise with clients in the consumer and retail sector.
- Excellent sales management and business development skills with demonstrated results.
- Experience managing and growing a large portfolio of mid to large corporate clients.
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders (portfolio management, credit risk, product partners).
- Strong knowledge of the bank loan market and comfort with credit underwriting.
- Experience with traditional operating products (treasury management, corporate card/payables, capital markets, trust and custody).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
