FP&A Analyst

We are partnering with a growing, private equity–backed organization to recruit a highly analytical FP&A Analyst for its Houston-based finance team. This role will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis, with regular collaboration and travel to the company’s Denver operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong analytical foundation—particularly those coming from public accounting, investment banking, or transaction-focused roles—who is looking to transition into a hands-on, high-impact FP&A position.

• Accounting background, CPA/CMA and/or public accounting experience HIGHLY DESIRED!

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives across the organization
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results; identify trends and explain variances
• Partner closely with operational and business leaders across Houston and Denver
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis
• Utilize Net Suite to support financial reporting, analysis, and data accuracy
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Finance or Accounting strongly preferred
• CPA strongly preferred (or in progress); investment banking or transaction-oriented experience a plus
• 2–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or investment banking
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel regularly to Denver
