Our client is a large multinational financial services organisation with HQ based in Dublin. They are seeking an investment professional to join its rapidly expanding equity investment function. This role is suited to candidates with early to mid-stage experience within financial services who are looking to build a long-term career in investment management.
The position offers exposure to equity markets, portfolio analysis, and investment research within a structured, well-resourced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced portfolio managers and analysts, contributing to investment decision-making while developing strong technical and professional capabilities.
Responsibilities- Perform equity and security research to support portfolio management activities
- Assist in portfolio construction, monitoring, and performance attribution
- Support risk analysis and investment reporting across equity strategies
- Contribute to investment reviews, committee materials, and internal presentations
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and broader financial services teams
- Work with colleagues across multiple geographies within the wider organisation
- Support integration of ESG considerations into investment analysis and processes
- Assist with continuous improvement of investment and analytical processes
- CFA qualified or equivalent
- Experience or strong interest in financial services, asset management, or investments
- Good understanding of equity markets and investment fundamentals
- Awareness of risk management and portfolio analysis concepts
- Strong numerical, analytical, and data-driven skillset
- High-quality academic background in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline
