The Lead Advisor role is responsible for managing existing client relationships and formulating and implementing advice. The role also serves the firm as a business developer and is responsible for attracting new client relationships to the firm. The role oversees and trains other advisors and staff to facilitate the delivery of excellent client service.
What you'll do- Manage client relationships and guide them toward wealth goals.
- Create and review financial plans, implement strategies, and recommend investments.
- Participate on the firm's Investment Committee and lead plan execution.
- Communicate proactively to address changing client needs.
- Supervise advisors and coordinate support staff for seamless service.
- Provide feedback and help train professional staff.
- Deepen client relationships and generate referrals.
- Build expertise and presence in target markets.
- Execute a personal business plan aligned with firm growth goals.
- Network with professionals and attract new clients through marketing and community engagement.
- A 4-year degree and advanced industry certification such as CFP, or willingness to pursue certification while serving in this role.
- Expertise in financial planning and the ability to create tailored strategies for diverse client needs.
- Strong knowledge of investment management principles and portfolio oversight.
- Exceptional client service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Proven leadership and management experience to guide and support team members.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills to engage clients and represent the firm effectively.
- Ability to oversee and collaborate with support and service advisors to ensure operational excellence.
