About the Job:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, assist with budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal

candidate will play a crucial role in the company's financialstrategy and operations to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting, Close, and Compliance (35%)

• Oversee all corporate accounting functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Coordinate and manage external audits and related documentation
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Ensure audit readiness and consistent financial governance

Operational Accounting Oversight (25%)

• Own the day-to-day accounting operations supporting Ironclad’s field-based and asset-intensive business model.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost tracking
• Monitor working capital, billing cycles, and collections
• Improve close efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
• Maintain strong documentation and financial discipline

Cash Flow, Banking, and Risk Management (15%)

• Protect Ironclad’s liquidity and financial flexibility as the business scales.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Maintain banking relationships and support covenant compliance
• Monitor credit exposure, collections, and payment terms
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation actions

Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis (15%)

• Support leadership with clear financial insight to drive performance.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Analyze financial performance and key variances
• Partner with leadership on cost control, margin improvement, and ROI analysis

Team Leadership and Process Improvement (10%)

• Build scalable finance processes and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance and accounting staff
• Establish repeatable processes and financial best practices
• Promote accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
• Support systems enhancements and process optimization

Key Competencies, Knowledge and

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a Controller or equivalent role
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
• Experience in industrial services, rental, construction, or asset-intensive environments preferred
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and team development capability
• High attention to detail with strong business judgment
• Clear communicator with credibility across all levels of the organization

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Controller experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10 years of accounting experience
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required
