Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are a private equity–backed, rapidly scaling manufacturing and technology company operating at the intersection of infrastructure, energy, and advanced materials
. Our products play a critical role in modernizing and hardening essential infrastructure across North America, with increasing demand driven by long‑term structural tailwinds.

Backed by an experienced PE sponsor and led by a seasoned executive team, the company is entering its next phase of growth — expanding capacity, professionalizing systems, and sharpening its strategic and financial playbook.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact Corporate Finance role designed for a finance professional — including those coming from investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory — who wants to move closer to the business and see the direct results of their work.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll act as a thought partner to senior leadership
, supporting strategic decision‑making, board reporting, capital planning, and performance management across a fast‑growing, asset‑intensive organization.

You will receive significant hands‑on mentorship from the CFO
, regular exposure to the Board of Directors and PE partners, and ownership of analytical work that directly influences capital allocation, growth initiatives, and operational strategy.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys modeling, analysis, and storytelling — but wants to apply those skills inside a business
, not just advise from the outside.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a core member of the finance leadership team, supporting the CFO across strategic finance, FP&A, and executive decision support
  • Own the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes, with a focus on scalability and rigor
  • Build and maintain financial models to support:
    • Capital investments and capacity expansion
    • Pricing and margin analysis
    • Scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
    • Strategic initiatives and growth projects
  • Analyse monthly and quarterly performance, translating results into clear insights for executive leadership, the Board, and PE stakeholders
  • Prepare board decks, management presentations, and investor‑ready materials
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR to understand key business drivers and improve financial visibility
  • Help professionalize and enhance FP&A infrastructure, reporting cadence, and analytical tools
  • Support ad hoc projects including strategic reviews, ROI analyses, and PE‑driven initiatives
Who We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, FP&A, transaction advisory, or corporate finance
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel required
  • Experience synthesizing complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership and boards
  • Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑moving operating environment
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn how a manufacturing business truly works
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus but not required
Why This Role Is Different
  • Direct CFO mentorship — real coaching, not just review comments
  • Board and PE exposure early and often
  • A chance to build, not just maintain
    , finance processes
  • Tangible outcomes — see your analysis turn into real‑world decisions and investments
  • A strong stepping stone into senior finance leadership within a growing platform
  • Competitive base salary with performance‑based incentives
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement plan with company contributions
  • Employer‑paid life and disability insurance
  • Generous PTO and employee support programs
  • Long‑term growth opportunities within a PE‑backed organization
Why Join

This is not a “back‑office” finance role. It’s a front‑row seat to growth
, strategy, and leadership development.

If you’re coming from banking or advisory and want to:

  • Work closer to the business
  • Develop true operating judgment
  • Learn directly from a CFO
  • Gain exposure to boards and PE decision‑making
