A well-established, owner-managed hospitality business operating premium hotel properties in Ireland, with further expansion planned. The organisation is known for its strong operational standards, long-standing leadership team, and commitment to investing in both people and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Full ownership of financial control and reporting across multiple hotel operations
- Preparation and oversight of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly management accounts
- Cashflow management, working capital control, and balance sheet integrity
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of robust financial policies and procedures
- Financial analysis to support cost control, margin improvement, and revenue optimisation
- Acting as the senior finance lead in discussions with operational leadership and ownership
- Oversight of internal and external audit processes
- Safeguarding of company assets and maintenance of strong financial controls
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small in-house finance team
- Supporting operational leaders with financial insight to drive commercial performance
- Continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting outputs
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager within hospitality or a similarly operationally complex environment
- Strong understanding of hotel or multi-site operational finance
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and detailed management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with multiple finance and property systems
- Track record of managing and developing finance teams
- Commercial mindset with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship
