Job Description

In this role, you’ll work closely with top‑tier real‑estate fund clients, leveraging your expertise in alternative investment fund accounting and complex fund structures. You’ll oversee global fund accounting operations with offshore teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. What you’ll do
  • Support client relationship leads by managing fund accounting and financial reporting for multiple real‑estate funds across diverse industry sectors.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring client expectations are met and deliverables are completed on time in line with Limited Partnership Agreements.
  • Interpret partnership agreements to maintain compliance with financial reporting standards and allocation methodologies.
  • Manage and review complex accounting tasks, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital transactions, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead communication across teams and service providers, mentor junior staff, and drive operational efficiency while tracking KPIs to ensure alignment with client and business goals.
What we offer
  • A comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ well‑being and work‑life balance.
  • Generous paid time off, including 4 weeks of PTO that increases over time, sick time, and paid holidays; a 401(k) plan with company match (subject to eligibility).
  • Health benefits covering medical, dental, vision, mental health support, and additional ancillary insurance plans.
  • Paid parental leave and a hybrid work schedule to promote personal and professional fulfillment.
  • Salary commensurate with experience and location ($95,000–$140,000).
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in alternative investment funds, public accounting, or a combination of both.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in fund accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferably Investran.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a proven track record of delivering accurate, high‑volume work with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional client service through professional communication and effective collaboration with teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and support team development through constructive feedback.
