Tricon is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Mumbai. The US Accounting Department at Tricon Energy is a multinational team with global coverage, overseeing the following functions:
Financial Reporting, Tax, Special Projects.
- Financial Reporting:
- Month end close responsibilities which includes:
- Review monthly account reconciliations
- Analyze account variances
- Prepare and book journal entries
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Month end close responsibilities which includes:
- Assist with the review of statutory audits in foreign countries
- This role will interface with senior management, FP&A, risk, treasury, human resources, external consultants, and the commercial trading team, each with members globally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- CA mandatory
- Post CA qualification minimum 3 years of accounting experience at a mid to large company
- Team handling experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or financial services preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel required
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition a plus)
