JOB SUMMARY

Assists the Chief Financial Officer in managing the financial and business operations of the district, including the Accounting, Budget, Charter School Business Office, External Funding, Medicaid, Payroll, Procurement, Risk Management, Treasury, and Warehouse Operations departments. Serves as the chief financial advisor to the Chief Financial Officer. Provides executive support to the Chief Financial Officer for managing and monitoring day-to-day operations in the Office of Finance, among the Chief Financial Officer’s senior leadership team, and across the Office of Finance’s priorities and strategies.

At the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, provides leadership and direction for special and/or cross-functional projects, coordinates activities that involve all members of the Chief Financial Officer’s senior leadership team, and/or serves as a representative of the Chief Financial Officer in meetings with staff members across departments and external stakeholders.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred CPA

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required 10+ years of directly related experience.
