JOB SUMMARYAssists the Chief Financial Officer in managing the financial and business operations of the district, including the Accounting, Budget, Charter School Business Office, External Funding, Medicaid, Payroll, Procurement, Risk Management, Treasury, and Warehouse Operations departments. Serves as the chief financial advisor to the Chief Financial Officer. Provides executive support to the Chief Financial Officer for managing and monitoring day-to-day operations in the Office of Finance, among the Chief Financial Officer’s senior leadership team, and across the Office of Finance’s priorities and strategies.
At the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, provides leadership and direction for special and/or cross-functional projects, coordinates activities that involve all members of the Chief Financial Officer’s senior leadership team, and/or serves as a representative of the Chief Financial Officer in meetings with staff members across departments and external stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth analytics and rigorous analysis of complex financial and operational data, identifying trends, insights, and actionable recommendations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required 10+ years of directly related experience.
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION- Microsoft Office

Regularly manages staff in the completion of large-scale projects or a very closely related set of projects/initiatives often spanning multiple disciplines. Receives strategies and broad departmental objectives from senior leadership; establishes operational objectives and work plans; delegates assignments to subordinate management and staff. Allocates resources according to priorities and serves as the primary decision maker regarding hiring, performance, and budget.
