Position OverviewOur Wealth Tax Advisory Practice is a rapidly growing and dynamic team, serving premier families and their enterprises across the U.S. and globally. We provide bespoke wealth advisory services, including estate planning, structuring, and transactional advisory, to some of the most influential clients. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Senior to join our team and work on key engagements, mentor junior professionals, and further deepen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Work on wealth advisory engagements, including sophisticated tax planning and structuring advice, including complex estate, trust, and gift tax returns to high-net-worth clients and family offices.
- Research tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies.
- Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, review work and help confirm they have the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to excel.
- Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve our services and processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization.
- Eligibility for CPA certification or membership in The Bar.
- Thorough understanding of
- estate and wealth planning
- federal and state personal and trust taxation
- flow-through entities (S-Corp, partnerships, LLCs)
- automated tax processing systems
- Commitment to continuing learning.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- Proven record in a professional services environment.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Competitive compensation and benefits package with base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US: $106,500 to $195,100 (and higher for NY, WA, CA). Our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options.
- Hybrid model: expectation of 40-60% in-person collaboration for most client-serving roles.
