Overview:
Our client, a well-established and reputable organization, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the tax function, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax regulations.

Coordinate the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Provide tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions for the company.

Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization’s tax strategies remain in compliance and up to date.

Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and accounting to provide tax-related guidance and support for various business initiatives.

Manage and liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies to ensure smooth tax audits and compliance processes.

Review and prepare tax provision calculations and ensure accurate reporting for financial statements.

Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.

Assist in the management of tax risk, ensuring appropriate controls and processes are in place to mitigate exposure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, JD, or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.

Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including corporate, international, and indirect tax.

Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and audits.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
