Gas Marketing Credit Analyst

The Gas Marketing Credit Analyst supports the credit operations within a gas marketing environment, ensuring the financial stability of counter parties and maintaining compliance with internal credit policies. You'll play a vital part in evaluating credit risk, issuing financial instruments, and fostering strong internal and external relationships.

• Assess and recommend credit terms for counter parties in alignment with company policies
• Manage issuance of letters of credit and guarantees
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contacts to ensure smooth credit operations
• Set and monitor credit limits, resolving complex credit issues as needed
• Generate regular reports outlining credit activities and exposure
• Mentor junior team members and support departmental projects

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role (5+ years preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong PC skills
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Oil and gas industry experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset
