Overview
Crowe’s dynamic and entrepreneurial Federal Tax Consulting Services practice incorporates cutting edge technology into an innovative team-based approach to deliver specialized federal tax consulting.
Responsibilities- Lead projects in energy tax credits and R&D tax credits.
- Assist practice offices in expanding revenue through existing clients and external opportunities.
- Manage R&D projects focused on Energy companies, including seismic imaging, experimental drilling, completion technology, stage spacing, and experimental fluids & proppant formulas.
- Manage Energy Tax Credit projects:
Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship engagements and ITC/PTC studies, performing tax technical analysis and drafting reports. - Drive business development and sales growth.
- Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in fast-paced interactive environment.
- Perform tax technical analysis and quality review on tax credit studies and communicate technical issues to broader team.
- Deep understanding of IRC Sections 45 and 48 and related regulations.
- Effectively lead client discussions with multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and execute project work plans, develop documentation, and make analytical decisions.
- Mentor staff and develop technical training.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or engineering; MST a plus.
- At least 7+ years experience in public accounting; preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience.
- Experience in the subject matter areas described above.
- CPA, EA, or PE credential required.

Benefits- Wage range $120,500 - $302,500 per year.
