Group Controller

We are partnering with a growing organization in the construction space to identify a Group Controller who will play a critical role in driving financial excellence across multiple business units. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and make an impact in a complex, multi‑site environment.

• Oversee financial cycles including General Ledger, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Treasury, and Tax. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Participate in due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration activities. Assist with analysis, fair value procedures, and earnout monitoring.
• Develop and maintain effective Percentage of Completion forecasting and ensure accurate cost accumulation for projects.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly performance reviews, KPI dashboards, and provide actionable insights to improve margin scalability and cash conversion.
• Partner with external auditors, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain strong internal controls.
• Manage and mentor site controllers and accountants, fostering collaboration across business units.

• Active CPA required;
  Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in a public company environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and Percentage of Completion accounting.
• Experience with M&A due diligence and integration.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed, multi‑site organization.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Background in the construction or engineering industry.
